Cookies & browser storage

Cookie Policy

This page is maintained by ZOE Connect and explains the cookies and similar browser storage we use, why we use them, and how you can control them. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. We also use similar technologies such as local storage and session storage, which work the same way for the purposes described here. Where this policy says "cookies", it covers those technologies too.

2. How we use cookies

We use cookies to keep you signed in, secure the administrator area, complete card payments through Stripe, credit the right affiliate partner for a referred order, and remember accessibility preferences you have chosen. We do not use advertising, retargeting, or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not sell information collected through cookies.

3. Categories we use

  • Strictly necessary — required for sign-in, account security, and completing a payment. These cannot be turned off within the site because the service will not function without them.
  • Functional — remember your choices, such as accessibility settings and the affiliate link you arrived from. You can clear these in your browser at any time.

4. Cookies and storage we set

Cookies and browser storage used by ZOE Connect, with purpose, category, and duration
NamePurposeCategoryDuration

Affiliate referral referenceRemembers the affiliate link you arrived from so the correct partner is credited for your order.FunctionalUp to 30 days
Accessibility preferencesStores your chosen accessibility settings such as larger text, high contrast, underlined links, reduced motion, and readable font.FunctionalUntil you clear it
Stripe payment cookiesSet by Stripe during checkout to process your payment securely and detect fraudulent activity.Strictly necessary (third party)Set by Stripe

5. Third-party cookies

Stripe sets cookies during checkout to process payments and prevent fraud, and our hosting and authentication providers set cookies needed to serve the site securely. These providers process that data under their own privacy policies. We do not embed advertising networks or social tracking pixels.

6. Managing cookies

You can block or delete cookies and clear local storage in your browser settings, and most browsers let you refuse cookies from specific sites. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will sign you out and prevent checkout from completing. Clearing functional storage resets your accessibility preferences and removes any affiliate referral credit stored on your device.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy as our services and providers change. The revised version will be posted on this page with a new date below.
